City Gift baskets is a Austin-based gifting company founded in 2012. They specialize in collecting local products to create meaningful and memorable gifts. Austin, Texas being the headquarters of the operation- the vibrancy and eccentricity of the city are essential to the DNA of the brand and their clientele.

As a growing business, aiming to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving market, City Gift Baskets recognized the importance of aligning its visual identity and messaging with the values of its loyal customer base. I was brought in to refresh the brand with the intention that every area of the business should reflect a shared understanding and vision.

For the new branding and packaging designs, we drew inspiration from the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, where City Gift Baskets is rooted. The illustrations reflect the dynamic and eclectic spirit of the city, featuring a color palette inspired by the iconic sunsets over the Texas Hill Country. The branding captures the essence of Austin's quirky and lively atmosphere.

During the rebranding process, we seized the opportunity to enhance the user experience and improve the clarity of information on the website. By refining the layout, simplifying navigation, and updating content to align with the new brand identity, we aimed to provide visitors with a more intuitive and engaging online experience. Working directly with developers at each step of the process- we not only refreshed the look but also made it easier for customers to find information and interact with the brand effectively online.
